Final Photoshop Poster: Dog Rugby
Inspired by my utmost loves in life, Working Dogs and Rugby, I mashed the two into this poster creation. The process was fairly monotonous and involved a lot of masking and touching up edges before applying to the final piece.

A Short Overview of the Process
Masking is the process on photoshop of removing one element of an image with the possible intention of either removing the background or placing it into a new image. It is done by selecting around the element you would like to use or work on (I used the slection tool with a + factor) and then creating a mask to 'black' out the original background. Using the painbrush on white further reveals the background while painting with black removes it (this is good to know to further touch up. To the right is the process of removing the dog in the bottom left of the final poster from its original background through masking. He was the easiest to do because he did not need touch ups or other removals.

This dog to the right from the final image took a little more work. He required in depth edits to keep only his outline and not the original background. In addition, I had to edit out the dummbell in his mouth because I did not want it in the final image; I selected around it the best I could and then used the spot healing tool to remove the rest from the mouth. Then, I tilted him to resemble running as opposed to jumping off an A-Frame.
