Mesh Mixer Bust
The character design process began with the scanning of our own busts using an Xbox Kinect scanner. These busts were then cleaned up in a program called Mesh Mixer. Once they were solid, the busts could be transferred to next program to be used as the character's head. Here is a brief slideshow to depict the cleaning process in Mesh Mixer.

This was the model as soon as it was scanned in with no correction. It is also hollow at this point. The blue indicates problems that must be fixed before it is imported and can be turned into a solid.

This is the bust model after clean-up. It is solid at this point with no blue to indicate corrections needed. This is ready to be imported to 3Ds Max.
