The first program used in modeling my own bedroom was that of Revit; it is a branch program closely related to 3Ds Max so that files can be imported into each program to create a final project. Starting in Revit, I used my own photographs (and pictoral memory) and measurements to 'bluprint' my bedroom with furniture to the exact inch of placement. While everything may not be exact in appearance, the blueprint gave the essence of my room so that it was easily recognizable.
The Revit Design Sequence is as follows: Actual Photograph, Outline Design, Finished Revit Render

The actual photograph of the view from my door entering my bedroom.

A non rendered outline done on Revit that shows the view from my door, entering into my bedroom.

A rendered version of the Computer View done on Revit.

The actual photograph of the view from my door entering my bedroom.
