STEM Poster
As our first project for the Fall Semester, we kicked off the year with a "STEM" Poster design. STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math education; all of which we encompass into our Advanced Engineering Graphics Class.
The Theme for the poster had to be creative and original, and I immediately got an idea; I was at first scared that I couldn't put it together, but I am glad I trusted myself to follow through with it. Our school mascot is the "Nittany Lion-" that is, a mountain lion. Throughout using all of the 'parts' of STEM, I had a nittany lion design himself a 3D printed mane after reading about "real" lions in a textbook. My caption played off of the well known Disney Movie: The Lion King.
My Poster was completely hand drawn and put together in photoshop. All sketches were done orginally digitally, and colored and outlined using several layers. Each lion and specific 'tool(s)' was created in a different file and then put together into a single poster, finished with words and smooth outline.
